Knockdown + Rebuild

OUR BLOCK, BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP

The Knockdown + Rebuild Approach

When Is A Knockdown + Rebuild Right?

A knockdown rebuild gives you the location you already love with a home that is built exactly the way you want it. No compromises around an existing structure, no working within constraints that were never yours to begin with. A clean slate, done properly.

We work with clients and architects through every stage of the knockdown rebuild process. Whether you are coming to us with plans ready to go or you are still workingout what the new home looks like, we have a clear process to get you there.

The site and the council requirements are just as important as the design. We understand planning overlays, demolition requirements and what it takes to get from an existing dwelling to a new home on the Bellarine, and we factor all of that in from the very beginning.

Where Are You in the Process?

Every knockdown rebuild journey starts at a different stage. So me clients are still weighing up whether to renovate or rebuild. Others already have a clear vision and are ready to move forward.

01

You're Comparing Renovating vs Rebuilding

Many clients come to us wanting to renovate, only to discover a knockdown rebuild may deliver a better home for a similar investment. We can help you assess both options before making a decision.

02

You Know You Want To Rebuild

You've decided your current home no longer meets your needs and want to start fresh. We'll help you understand budgets, timelines and the path from demolition through to construction.

03

You're Designing Your New Home

Whether you're working with an architect, building designer or exploring our Design & Build service, we can provide early construction advice to help align design, budget and buildability.

04

You're Ready To Move Forward

You have plans underway or completed and are ready to understand costs, approvals and construction timeframes. Our team can guide you through the next steps with confidence.
  • We've Done This Before, Right Here
Multiple knockdown rebuilds delivered across the Bellarine. We know the planning requirements, the demolition protocols, the council expectations and the site conditions. That experience means a process that moves with confidence from day one.
  • Your Brief Doesn't Get Watered Down
We take your brief from the first conversation and hold it all the way to handover. No value-managing the things that mattered most. The home you get is the home you agreed to
  • We Move Fast Without Cutting Corners
Our pre-construction process is thorough and our programme is tight. We plan the sequencing carefully so the project moves efficiently from demolition through to construction without unnecessary delays or downtime between stages.
  • One Project Manager the Whole Way
From demolition to handover, one person is accountable. They know the site, know the design and know what was promised. Nothing falls through the gap between stages
  • Clear Budgets Across Every Moving Par
Demo, site costs, planning, construction. More variables than a standard new build. We keep your budget front of mind acrossall of it and nothing moves without a conversation first.
  • A Builder Your Architect Wants to Work With
We are brought in by architects and designers because we communicate well, stay true to the design intent and deliver what was drawn. Notranslation errors between the plans and the finished home.
How long is the build period going to be?
Close Icon

This varies on the size, design, and inclusions of your home. Your building contract will acknowledge a time frame that the build must be completed by, but you will get an idea about the approximate time frame in your initial meeting.

What is the most important part of the build to us?
Clos Icon

We believe the most crucial aspect of the build is Quality, not only the incredible quality of the build itself but the quality of the experience we can give the customer. It is for this reason we have a thorough detailed process.

How often can I visit the building site and look at my home under construction?
Clos Icon

You can schedule a site inspection at any time during business hours to examine your home. We also ensure that regular site meetings take place throughout the construction period to keep you consistently informed and updated. These meetings will be reflected in your schedule and can be accessed through your client portal, with a reminder sent in advance.
